I’m Mae, the founder of Maelingo, and I created this platform because I know what it feels like to fall behind, to feel lost in a system that doesn’t fit you, and to wish for someone who truly understands.
Why I Started Maelingo
I grew up moving countries and switching schools, adapting to new systems, and learning new languages under pressure. That journey was hard, and it taught me one thing: education isn’t one-size-fits-all.
Maelingo was born from the wish I had as a child: to feel safe, seen, and supported in my learning. Today, I offer that space to your child, a supportive, differentiated, and diverse environment where learning feels natural, personal, and empowering.
Teaching that meets the Real World
I’ve taught in online international schools, supported children with special educational needs, and helped learners prepare for IGCSE exams and Cambridge IELTS from Pre-A1 to C2 level.
I’ve worked with children who needed structured academic help, and with children who simply needed someone to believe in them.
